The Mosta Youth Empowerment Centre (MYEC) offers support services to young people in the locality. The main aim, as the name suggests, is to empower young people and provide them with the information required whether this relates to career guidances, health, work opportunities, the rights of young people, the environment, religion, etc. Young people also come to discuss particular issues important to them. Depending on the issue, we also offer one-to-one sessions where we guide the young person throught the different option available.

Although it is not the role of the YEC, we also organise activities from time to time for the young people who frequent the YEC. Some activities organised were treasure hunt, cultural visits, seminars, an open days, bazaars, weekend live-ins, Partnership Building activities and also European Voluntary Services projects.
